April 20: Crazy By Design: Your Students are Supposed to be that Way

04/20/2023

Speaker: Ken Castor

As your kids grow, they will be going through major upheavals physically, mentally, emotionally and socially. This “polysided chaos” impacts every aspect of teenagers’ lives, including their experience with God. Dr. Ken Castor will help leaders understand the “wonderfully complex” process of adolescent development and help leaders equip students to be resilient through it all.

Dr. Ken Castor is the Family Ministries Pastor at Wooddale Church. After thirty years of next-generation and family ministry, Ken is balding in his hairline but still bold in his faith. Ken joined the Wooddale team in 2021, after serving as the professor of youth ministry at Crown College. Ken has degrees from Taylor University, Regent College (Canada) and a doctorate from Trinity Western University (Canada) in passing faith from one generation to the next. Ken is the “Blue Letters Editor” of the award-winning Jesus-Centered Bible, and has authored numerous next-gen and family discipleship resources like “Grow Down” and “Make a Difference.” You may also be interested to know Ken is a nerdy Cubs fan, has been married to a brilliant Minnesota girl (Kathy) for over 25 years, is called “dad” by three of the most interesting people on the planet and geeks out on good coffee.
